The buckwheat noodles eaten on New Year's Eve

A Hppy New Year !!

We greet the New Year, so this year I would like to save money. Because, recently, I fear of my future.

By the way, today I'm going to write about "The buckwheat noodles eaten on New Year's Eve".

In Japan we have a custom that when we greet the New Year, we eat the buckwheat noodles on the last day of the year. But the custom is different as the provinces. For example, we eat the buckwheat noodles on the first day of the year in my hometown.

So I aet the buckwheat noodles eaten on the New Year's Eve, last year. In fact, we have to eat up until 12:00, but we couldn't eat up them. So, if it is Edo era, this year I thought unlucky by other people.

Well, we have many kind of the buckwheat noodles eaten on the New Year's Eve. There are hot one, cold one, and so on. By the way, I like cold one. It's so good! Depend on the provinces, there are strange custom of eating. For example, there is the custom that eat the buckwheat noodles by big long green onion. But I have never seen it.

If you have a chance that see out the old year and see in the new year in Japan, you should try it!

See you and have a good year!!
